The 2024 General Election saw a major shake up of the rural political landscape, with many traditionally Conservative seats going to both the Liberal Democrats and Labour. Reform UK is polling consistently highly in rural areas. With many in the countryside displeased with the current direction of government rural policy, the countryside is up for grabs. Can the Conservatives seize that opportunity, and regain the rural vote?
