Over one million 16-24-year-olds are not in education, employment or training in the UK. At the same time, adolescent wellbeing has been decreasing. In 2009-10, 30% of 16-24-year-olds who were NEET were likely to have a mental health condition. In 2023-24, this figure doubled to 60%. Join us as we discuss how to break the cycle of poor mental health and get more young people into jobs, education and training.
