No country for young workers: what's next for the next generation?
While overall UK unemployment has fallen over the past year, youth unemployment has hit its highest level in over a decade. Why are young workers bearing the brunt? Vacancies are drying up, employers are warier of graduate CVs, more are claiming welfare, and a degree no longer guarantees the opportunities it once did. Young people are in the midst of a crisis. How do we get them back on track and can Britain afford to ignore it?
